Modern High School, Akole
Akole taluka is known as remote, hilly and tribal (Adivasi) taluka. In this area with the intention of education progress, Hind Seva Mandal has founded first Secondary High School on 1st March, 1951 on bank of holy Pravara river.
Education’s continuous flow of knowledge is running since 65 years in form of Modern High School. According to age there is great changes between learners and teachers. Our Sanstha & High School thought over it & have great change in educational system.
One part of this change is, students had to go to city for further education. Came to know this need we have started Jr. College attached to high school in 1975. This Jr. College was the first Science’s Jr. College in Akole. We started science faculty and got a great response. So many parents forced for starting Commerce & Arts faculty and we started Commerce faculty in 1999 & Arts in 2007. It is pleasure to note that all three faculties are at the top of success.
21st Century is century of Information &Technology so our Sanstha started well equipped IT section.
Many X-students are now working as classone officer as well as top ranking in various fields. They carved school’s name in their field. We are very proud of it. Our Jr. College in connected with secondary school and has special discipline.
We are always trying our best to give all material facilities to students. For it we set up well equipped building. Well-equipped laboratory, huge library, lot of sports equipment all these facts are ready for student’s development. School is bound for student’s all-round development.

Achievements
- We are very glad to note that till today High-school’s 5 models are selected for state level. Two models are selected for national level.
- In sports like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi & rope gymnastic many students are selected on state level.
- In S. S. C. Board exam one student obtained 8th Rank and one obtained 17th rank in Pune Board.
